Opening files

Open PDF Click Open PDF or drag a .pdf onto the window
Open saved session Click Open .inkegg or drag a .inkegg file — restores all editable annotations

Adding content

+ Add Text Click the button, then click on the page to place a multi-line text box. Enter adds a new line; click away or Esc to finish.
✎ Signature Opens the drawing pad. Saved signatures appear as thumbnails for reuse.

Text formatting

Color & Size Set before placing, or select a text item and change — updates immediately.
B / I / U Bold, Italic, Underline. Toggle before placing, or select an item and click to apply.
⇤ ↕ ⇥ Alignment Left, Center, Right. Applies within the text box width. Drag the right edge to resize.

Editing & moving

Edit text Double-click. Enter = new line. Click away or Esc to finish.
Move Click and drag any item.
Resize text box Hover and drag the right-edge handle to change width.
Resize signature Drag the blue ■ handle at the bottom-right.
Delete Hover or select → click , or press Delete / Backspace.

Saving & exporting

💾 Save Saves Filename.inkegg — original PDF + all annotations, fully re-editable.
↓ Export PDF Bakes annotations into a flat Filename_EXPORT.pdf. Not re-editable.
.inkegg is a JSON file containing the original PDF (base64) plus all annotation data. Open it here to resume editing. Use Export PDF to produce a standard PDF for sharing.
